Box Score OLYMPIA, Wash. - The College of Idaho volleyball team opened the back half of Cascade Collegiate Conference play with authority, sweeping Evergreen (25-11, 25-9, 25-18) Friday night on the road.
The Yotes (12-6, 6-5 CCC) hit an efficient .247 as a team and dominated at the service line with 11 aces. Abigail Flerchinger led the way with eight kills on .538 hitting, while Cierra Bohrn added six kills and two blocks. Setter Shaynee McWilliams dished out 22 assists and added three blocks, and Kadence Boyd chipped in three aces.
Keylee Wilson and Brooke Garman each tallied five kills, and Kadance Jacobson anchored the defense with six digs and two service aces.
Evergreen (1-14, 1-10 CCC) was held to a -.092 hitting percentage. Zofia Formella paced the Geoducks with four kills, while Bright Brubaker contributed two kills and four block assists.
The Yotes return to action Saturday in a rematch against Northwest University (Wash.), looking to avenge an early-season loss and complete the weekend sweep to continue their push up the CCC standings.
