Women's Volleyball Shows Resilience in Tough Doubleheader

CALDWELL, Idaho- The College of Idaho women's volleyball team faced a grueling doubleheader today, ultimately falling short in both matches but showing commendable fight throughout.

Match 1: College of Idaho vs. Morningside University

In their opener, the Yotes went up against Morningside University and ended up losing 1-3. The match was fiercely contested, with one set extending to a dramatic 32 points. Key highlights from the match included:

• Haley McUne led with 15 kills and 16 digs, showcasing her all-around game.
• Janae Rayborn contributed 7 kills and 12 digs.
• Savannah Hutchins added 15 digs, supporting the defensive effort.

Match 2: College of Idaho vs. Arizona Christian

The Yotes' second match of the day against Arizona Christian ended in a 0-3 loss. The match was competitive, with College of Idaho again demonstrating resilience in a set that reached 30 points. Key performers included:

• Haley McUne continued her strong showing with 7 kills and 11 digs.
• Alexa Wheeler delivered with 8 kills and 5 blocks.
• Abby Draghici contributed 6 kills and 3 blocks.

Additional standout performances came from:

• Mia Hutchinson, who had 4 kills and 4 digs.
• Jerzie Bair, who added 2 kills and 1 block.
