FAYETTE, Mo – The College of Idaho Softball team's season comes to a close after falling to Mid-America Christian 4-0. The Yotes finished with a 32-19 record including post season. They had a strong conference record of 20-7, good enough for third place in the regular season in a tight finish in the Cascade Collegiate Conference.
Despite the
Ambrie Jones and
Annie Polster duo of pitchers striking out 5 Evangels, MACU found seven hits. Another tough day for the Yotes batters as they could only get two hits.
Lexi Navarrete's double out to left field in the bottom of the first was the most explosive play by Yotes on the day. The Yotes stranded ten runners on base. Rachel Eggleston pitched a complete game from the circle, giving up only two hits and no runs.
