The first set saw College of Idaho start off with a 3-1 lead before four unanswered points by the host Warriors put them ahead 5-4. Later in the set, the Yotes rallied to tie the set at three occasions – 18, 20 and 21 before a 4-1 spurt at the end was just enough for Corban, who won the set by a 25-21 margin.
The second set saw Corban race out to an early 10-3 lead on its way to a 25-21 win for a two set to none advantage.
The third set was tied on seven occasions, including at 19 that led to a two-point swing in favor of the host Warriors that was sparked by a block by Emma Bischoff and Taylor Kiesen and a kill by Troutman provided just enough to close out the match with a 25-22 set win.
