Janae Rayborn had 14 kills and a .448 hitting percentage and
Savannah Hutchins had a double double – 23 assists and 10 digs – in a 25-18, 25-20, 25-18 win for the College of Idaho volleyball team over Oregon Tech on Saturday night.
College of Idaho (3-7, 1-1 CCC) recorded a .287 hitting percentage as a team for its best effort on the season and its highest since a .349 clip against Walla Walla on October 15, 2022.
Jade Warren had nine kills and
Haley McUne had eight kill sand 11 digs.
Clair Hodge, who had a career-high 27 digs on Friday, followed up her record-setting performance with 17 more in the contest.
Oregon Tech (2-7, 0-2 CCC) was paced by 11 and 10 kills each from Savanna Sterck and Molly Grace. The Owls' Aubrey Stennett had a double double with 19 assists and 13 digs for first-year head coach Alexis Garrison.
The match was controlled by C of I as the contest was tied on seven occasions in three sets and two lead changes. The Yotes hit .308 in the first set, followed by a .265 effort in the second set and wrapped up the win with a .286 hitting percentage in the third set.
Next up for College of Idaho is a matchup against Warner Pacific on Friday, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. at the JAAC.
