Box Score LEBANON, Tenn - The 19th-ranked College of Idaho women's soccer team competed in their second straight top-20 matchup, facing off against Cumberland in a game that would end in a draw at 2-2.
The game saw plenty of shots by both teams, as each team would end the game with 12 total shots.
Hannah McFadden was able to turn away seven shots in the contest, and the Phoenix goalkeeper Sabrina Graziano stopped seven.
In the second half, Cumberland's Gabby Jones was able to break the scoreless drought, scoring in the 53rd minute to give the Phoenix the lead. Just 40 seconds later,
Kyndra Lyons was able to square the game at one. Four minutes after Lyons tied the game,
Eden Makaafi netted her second goal of the season to give the Yotes the lead at 2-1.
With just over five minutes in the game, Cumberland's Mari Sagstad put the ball past McFadden off an assist from Evelyn Jimenez that would square the game back up, which would eventually hold to be the final score.
The Yotes will be back in action in Lebanon, Tennessee on Monday in a neutral site game with Shawnee State.
