Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

15th-Ranked Yotes Fall in NAIA Tournament Opener

CALDWELL, Idaho - The historic season for College of Idaho women's soccer concluded on Saturday, dropping the contest with Keiser by a score of 1-0.

Goalkeeper Hannah McFadden's illustrious career came to a close, as the all-time program leader in shutouts for a goalkeeper recorded 7 saves to keep the game close. Keiser was able to break through in the second half following a corner kick, which saw McFadden make a remarkable save before the rebound bounced around the box and found the foot of Olivia Pousette, who put the ball in the back of the net, making it 1-0, which would hold to be the final.

The Yotes best scoring chance came from nearly 45 yards away as Alondra Osuna found the ball off a pass and was tripped up by a defender, but not before launching the ball towards the Seahawks net, forcing the Keiser goalie to make an outstanding diving save to keep the Yotes off the board.

The Yotes season ends with program records in wins, goals, and points in the most dominant offensive season in program history.
