ASHLAND, Ore. - No. 16 Southern Oregon posted a 25-21, 25-15 , 25-22 win over College of Idaho on Saturday afternoon.
College of Idaho (11-10, 9-4 CCC) managed to hit .190 in the loss as it was no match for Southern Oregon (16-5, 9-4 CCC), who posted a .347 hitting percentage.
The Yotes were led by a double double by
Haley McUne, who had 13 kills and 10 digs.
Analise Hitchcock and
Savannah Hutchins had 16 and 15 assists, respectively.
The Raiders were paced by a 12-kill effort from Hannah Stadstad to go along with 11 kills from Carol Melo. Annie Hite and Vitoria Mattos had 20 and 19 assists, respectively. Sadie Byrd posted seven blocks and Kayla Neidgh had three service aces and 15 digs to contribute to the winning efforts.
Next, College of Idaho will host Northwest on Friday at 7 p.m. at the J.A. Albertson Activity Center. Earlier this year, the Yotes rallied to defeat the Eagles in five in Kirkland on September 16.
