Box Score CHICKASHA, Okla. - The College of Idaho softball season came to an end today in Chickasha, Oklahoma, dropping the NAIA Opening Round Championship to host Science & Arts, 5-2.
Lexi Navarrete started right where she left off, hitting a home run in the second inning to give the Yotes an early 2-1. In her final collegiate game,
Kylie Smith drove in one of the two Yotes RBI's.
Haley Loffer went 1-1 with three walks on the day.
For the Drovers, Savannah Ashford hit a three-run home run over the center field wall in the fourth inning, which would end up being the game winning run. On the mound, USAO was led yet again by ace Emily Cerny. Cerny tallied her 31st win on the season, improving her record to an outstanding 31-3. Cerny adds to her illustrious career with yet another win, as she holds the NAIA record for wins in a career.
The Yotes will travel back from Oklahoma tomorrow.
