Box Score 3 Great Falls, Mont. - The College of Idaho softball team took two out of three games against host Providence in a rare tripleheader on Thursday. The host Argos took the first game by a 3-2 margin before the Yotes came back with a pair of five-inning victories, 10-1 and 12-0.

The two wins raise the Yotes record to 37-13 overall and 22-7 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference as they wrap up the regular season. College of Idaho has clinched a spot in next week's CCC Tournament with game times, dates and locations to be determined.

Game one saw the Argos hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh for the walk-off win. The win spoiled a go-ahead home run by the Yotes'
Hannah McNerney in the top half of the inning. McNerney accounted for two of the four hits by College of Idaho. Yotes starting pitcher
Katelyn Wilfert was the tough-luck loser, striking out a season-high 13 batters in the loss.

With the game tied at 1, in game two, College of Idaho plated four runs in the third and five in the fourth en route to the 10-1 win.
Hallie Holland and
Hattie Hruza each had two hits to go along with a four RBI effort from
Lexi Navarrete paced the Yotes to the win. In the circle,
Hannah McNerney got the win after allowing just four hits and striking out five.
The third game on the day saw the Yotes continue the hot-hitting efforts from College of Idaho, who scored five in the first, four in the third, one in the fourth and two more in the fifth for a 12-0 shutout win.

Lindsey Jones led three Yotes with multiple hits as
Kaylee MacDannald and
Lexi Navarrete each had two in the win. Jones also drove in three and
Payton Bates added two RBIs in the win for College of Idaho.

McNerney got her second win on the day, allowing just one hit and striking out four.
Daralyn Moura pitched the final inning to close out the game, striking out the side in the fifth.
