WALLA WALLA, Wash. - Three tightly contested doubles matches did not result in wins for The College of Idaho women's tennis team, who dropped a 9-0 decision to host Whitman on Saturday.
The Yotes dropped a pair of 8-4 decisions at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles and the No. 2 doubles team of
Leiana Almaraz and
Anna Willcuts lost by an 8-6 margin. In singles play, there were a pair of 6-3, 6-3 losses for College of Idaho including Willcuts at No. 6 and
Taylor Johnson at No. 2. At No. 1,
Lauren Kreutzer lost by a 6-0, 6-4 margin for the Yotes. No. 2 and No. 5 singles were decided by a 6-1, 6-3 margin.
