GOING NORTH OF THE BORDER:
The host Thunderbirds have won four of the seven meetings in British Columbia between the two teams. When playing in Caldwell, the Yotes post a decisive 16-2 advantage in games at Symms Field.

CONFERENCE / NATIONAL POLL: Wednesday will be the announcement of the fourth NAIA regular season poll. In the latest poll,  the Yotes are ranked No. 6 behind fellow CCC foe, Oregon Tech at No. 1. C of I was ranked No. 2 in the preseason poll. Plus, the Yotes were picked to finish second in both the Cascade Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll and the preseason NAIA Top-25 Coaches Poll. 

RECORD BOOK WATCH:
  • Haley Loffer ranks among the top five in multiple offensive categeories (1st - runs scored - 168, walks - 96, stolen bases - 95; 2nd - on-base percentage - .493, home runs - 19, triples - 12; 3rd - batting average - .360 and slugging percentage - .614; 4th in total bases - 281; 5th in doubles - 35.  
  • Kylie Smith holds the school record with 650 at bats; second in games played with 214 and games started with 206; third in doubles - 39; fourth in hits - 194, RBIs - 113).
  • Kaily Christensen is third in on-base percentage with a .431 clip and fourth with a .357 career batting average.
  • Katelyn Wilfert has the second lowest career ERA with a 2.17; Hannah McNerney is the all-tlme leader with 7 saves, third in appearances with 87; fourth in wins with 38 and fifth in innings pitched with 379.
 
GRAND THEFT C OF I:
For the season, C of I is 66-for-73 in stolen base attempts. C of I has eclipsed the 60 stolen base mark in a season on 8 occasions. The 66 stolen bases ranks seventh all-time in a single season.

Haley Loffer leads the team with 22 stolen bases. Earlier this season, she set the school career record for stolen bases, last week, when she eclipsed the previous mark of 78 held by Heather Kirtley (2004-07). For her career, Loffer has 95 stolen bases. Loffer holds the school single-season record with 32 stolen bases that she set in the 2019 season.
