Currently, C of I is in the midst of a school record 17 game winning streak Last season, the Coyotes pulled off a 16-game winning streak to begin the season.


GRAND THEFT C OF I: For the season, C of I is 41-for-44 in stolen base attempts. C of I has eclipsed the 40 stolen base mark in a season on 14 occasions.

Haley Loffer leads the team with 13 stolen bases. Loffer set the school career record for stolen bases, last week, when she eclipsed the previous mark of 78 held by Heather Kirtley (2004-07). For her career, Loffer has 86 stolen bases. Loffer holds the school single-season record with 32 stolen bases that she set in the 2019 season.

C of I pulled off five stolen bases against Warner Pacific on Feb. 25, the most by a Coyote squad since May 19, 2021 against Freed Hardeman (6).

FIREWORKS: C of I has scored its opponents by a 157 to 38 margin in its 17-game winning streak.

CONFERENCE / NATIONAL POLL: Wednesday saw the announcement of the NAIA first regular season poll and the Yotes are ranked No. 3 behind fellow CCC foe, Oregon Tech at No. 1 and Oklahoma City at No. 2. C of I was ranked No. 2 in the preseason poll. Plus, the Yotes were picked to finish second in both the Cascade Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll and the preseason NAIA Top-25 Coaches Poll. Defending national runners-up, Oregon Tech sits atop both polls and defending NAIA champion, Southern Oregon, was picked third in the CCC poll and No. 6 in the Top-25 poll. Complete poll

NO, NO: The nightcap on Feb. 25 against Warner Pacific saw another masterful performance in the circle by C of I as Katelyn Wilfert throw a no-hitter – the first by a Yote pitcher since March 13, 2021 by Annie Polster against Providence (Mont.).
