Pocatello, Idaho – The College of Idaho women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to NCAA Division I, Idaho State on Sunday.
C of I dropped all three doubles matches by the score of 6-1. As the match shifted to singles,
Lauren Kreutzer dropped a 6-4, 6-1 decision at No. 1 singles to Megan Lang-Gould in a tightly-contested match. Another close match for C of I was at No. 5 singles as
Morgan Leavitt lost by a 6-2, 6-1 margin to Luna Urso. The host Bengals managed to win all six singles matches on the afternoon.
Next up for C of I is a four-match road trip to Oregon where they will face four Northwest Conference teams in the Portland area. The trip gets started with a matchup on Friday, Feb. 25 at 5 p.m. against Lewis & Clark. After that match, C of I will face Willamette and George Fox on Saturday, Feb. 26 at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., respectively. The trip concludes with a 11 a.m. match against Pacific in Forest Grove.
