PORTLAND, Ore. - PORTLAND, Ore. – The College of Idaho volleyball team extended its winning streak to three with a 25-17, 25-15, 25-12 road win over host Warner Pacific on Friday night.
The Yotes (8-16, 7-10 CCC) were sparked by a .267 hitting percentage – its third-straight match where they have hit over .200 en route to the win. The 41 kills in the straight-set win were its most in a three-set match on the season. Leading the attack for College of Idaho was a pair of double-digit efforts from
Janae Rayborn and
Emily Vandenberg, who had 11 and 10 kills, respectively. Rayborn also had 13 digs for her third double double of the season.
The Knights (1-15 overall, 1-15 CCC) were led by a nine-kill effort from Elizabeth Reid. Calli Garver put her hand on three blocks, JuJu Will had 14 assists and Sabah Mohammad had 20 assists.
Also, for College of Idaho,
Payton Elledge had a season-high three service aces and
Katie Black added a pair. Plus, Black had a hand on three blocks in the win.
Ali Carpenter and
Gabriella Rios added 16 and 13 digs, respectively to the winning efforts.
Next, College of Idaho will host Multnomah on Saturday at 6 p.m. (CT)/5 p.m. (PST).
