TACOMA, Wash. – Winning 5-of-6 singles' matches, the College of Idaho women's tennis team ran their win streak to three in a row, stopping Pacific Lutheran, 6-3, at Sprinker Recreation Center.
Alex Sorte and
Natalie Little each won a pair of matches on the day – as the duo teamed for an 8-3 victory at No. 1 doubles' over Hannah Jeffries and Bayley Gochanour. Sorte opened the singles' ladder with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Gochanour and Little rallied from a set down to defeat Kylie Rademacher 3-6, 6-2, 10-8.
Marissa Shirley claimed a 7-5, 6-4 win at No. 4 over Michelle Batin;
Melissa O'Berto came back from a set down to beat Taylor Stokes at No. 5 4-6, 6-2, 10-8; with
Sydney Ewing earning a straight-set 6-4, 6-4 win over Emma Lund at No. 6.
The Yotes (3-7) close the road trip tomorrow with a match-up at Puget Sound.
