Box Score CALDWELL, Idaho - The College of Idaho softball team shut-out Willamette University today to complete a weekend sweep of the Bearcats at Symms Field.
The Yotes (9-2) wrapped up the game in six innings with a score of 8-0.
Pitcher
Colette Robert moves to 6-0 on the season with the victory. She held the Bearcats to just four hits and struck out four.
The Yotes started the game quickly with three runs in the first inning.
Jordan Maddox brought
Kylie Smith and
Courtney Ellis in with a double to right field. She'd finish the day with two RBIs.

Lacie Miller single sent
Kylie Smith home and put
Martha Tooley on third base in the bottom of the third.
Trystin Crofts followed with a double that sent Tooley home and Miller to third.
Delaney Atkins had the last hit of the inning, a single to left field, sending Miller to pick up the Yotes' sixth run of the day.
In the fourth inning,
Martha Tooley hit a single to left center to send
Kristin Paulazzo home for the Yotes seventh run.
The Yotes went three up, three out in the fifth inning. In the sixth, Ellis got on base with a single to left field and advanced to third with a
Bentli Corta single. Finally, a Tooley single to right field sent Ellis home for the Yotes' eighth run, ending the game per the run rule. Tooley would end the day with two hits, two RBIs and two put outs as a first baseman.
The Yotes are home for another week, playing a double-header against Walla Walla on Sunday at 11 a.m.
