Box Score Caldwell, Idaho - Hastings College's Heidi Bartsch sent the eventual game-winning goal into the net in only the third minute of today's match with the College of Idaho.
The Yotes best chance for a goal came in the first 10 minutes of the game when they put up three shots; two - from Cameron Boyle and
Hailey Boyd - were on goal and a header from
Bailey Watson bounced off the left post. Later in the first half,
Megan Aumeier also came close with the Yotes third shot on goal.
While both teams put up five shots in the first half, Hastings would edge out the Yotes 5-1 in the second half. They also had four corner kicks compared to the Yotes's two.
In the net for the Yotes,
Brittany Houghton had six saves while the Broncos's keeper Lexi Harris had three.
Today's 1-0 loss is the seventh-straight loss by a one-goal margin dating back to 2015.
The Yotes head out on the road this weekend with match-ups against Pacific on Friday and Linfield on Sunday.
