LAST WEEK: The Yotes had a tough 3-2 loss against Southern Oregon last Friday before sweeping Oregon Tech on Saturday.
NAIA POLL: The College of Idaho remained ranked eighth in the nation in the third NAIA Coaches Poll despite a shaken up list. Hastings dropped from first to fourth with their first loss of the season while undefeateds Viterbo (Wis.) and Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) moved into the first and second spots.
The Yotes are one of three CCC teams ranked inside the top 25. Despite sweeping C of I last weekend, Eastern Oregon dropped from 12th to 14th. Corban - who has won every set since they fell 3-1 to the Yotes on Sept. 22 - moved from 16th to 12th.
AGAINST RANKED OPPONENTS: Of the College of Idaho's 17 wins this season, five have come against ranked opponents, and they have only fallen to one - Eastern Oregon - ranked team. They'll have two more opportunities to face ranked opponents this regular season - Corban on Oct. 28 and Eastern Oregon on Nov. 2.
