NAMPA, Idaho – The College of Idaho rallied to force a decisive fifth set, but Northwest Nazarene broke a 9-9 tie with a five-point surge to earn an exhibition victory over the Lady Yotes inside Johnson Sports Center.

The Division II Crusaders claimed the non-counting marathon victory 23-25, 25-12, 31-29, 24-26, 15-11.
The rivals played to six stalemates in the final set, the last at 9-9 after a
Katy Robinson kill. However, a Mari Thomas kill, back to back terminations by Madi Farrell and two C of I hitting errors helped put the match away for the hosts.
Brenna Meehan led C of I with 15 kills and nine digs, with
Abbey Fenton adding 14 kills, seven digs and three blocks.
Jayde Folsom finished with 35 assists and
Kilee Lopez was the lone Coyote with double-digit digs, recording 22.
Four NNU players had 10 or more kills, as Kendra Bodine and Farrell each had 16.
The Lady Yotes head to Montana this weekend for the Big Sky Challenge in Butte.
