Box Score OLYMPIA, Wash. – Katy Robinson led the most efficient College of Idaho attack with 11 kills, helping the Yotes complete a weekend sweep with a 25-20, 25-13, 25-13 victory at the Evergreen State College.
The Lady Yotes (5-7, 2-1 CCC) cruised behind 41 kills and only eight attack errors, hitting at a .379 clip – including 11 kills without an error in Set 2.
C of I never trailed in Set 1, getting a pair of Emily Ottinger kills in an opening 9-4 run, easing to the win.
The Coyotes used an 11-2 run in Set 2 to break a 5-5 tie, including a pair of kills from Robinson and Kylie Porter. Set 3 saw the Yotes hit over .500, jumping to a 12-6 lead to help complete the sweep.
Ottinger had 10 kils, with Porter recording eight kills in the win. Sierra Porter led all players with 38 assists, with Kilee Lopez notching 13 digs.
The Geoducks (9-6, 1-3) were paced by eight kills from both Brandee Victorino and Nicle Diehl.
C of I returns home next weekend for matches with Northwest Christian and Corban.
