Box Score CALDWELL, Idaho – Kristyn Bohlander tallied the only goal from the foot of a Saint, helping Carroll College (1-0-1), defeat The College of Idaho, 2-0, at Simplot Stadium.
The Lady Yotes (0-0), fell behind 1-0 two minutes into the season by virtue of an own goal.
Aside from the final tally, the stats were fairly equal as the Saints outshot the Lady Yotes 13-12, but lost the corner kick battle 7-2.
Both Jamie Carter of Carroll and Aimee Pierson of the Lady Yotes registered 8 saves tending the net.
C of I midfielder Brianna Blair led the Yotes with a match-high three shots on goal.
The loss further separates the Saints and Lady Yotes in the all-time series, improving Carroll's record versus The College of Idaho to 11-2-1.
The Saints will travel to Nampa to take on the Crusaders of Northwest Nazarene tomorrow morning at 11 a.m..
The Lady Yotes will play their next match on Wednesday, August 27, at 5 p.m., against the Crusaders in Simplot Stadium.
