CALDWELL, Idaho - Emily Tesnohlidek won a pair of matches, helping The College of Idaho defeat Treasure Valley CC, 7-0, in an exhibition match-up on the Cunningham/Roberge Tennis Courts.
Playing their first home match since 2011, the Lady Yotes won both doubles' matches - as Tesnohlidek teamed at No. 1 with Hayley Hutchings to easily dispatch Jami Farmer and Jasmine Jensen, 8-1. Cassie Low and Tanya Greenwood improved to 3-0 this season, stopping Jill Cote and Fani Lopez, 8-2.
Tesnohlidek played at the top of the singles ladder and battled Farmer to three sets, winning the super-breaker, 10-8, to earn the victory 6-1, 6-7, 1-0. At No. 2, Shae Stults made quick work of Jensen, while Jamie Taylor picked up her first win of the season, defeating Cote at No. 3, 6-0, 6-1.
Emilee Chapman earned a convincing 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 4 over Lopez, with Rachel Webster cruising to a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 5 over Kaila Hendon.
The two teams are expected to play again later this season, but the date and time are to be determined.
