After an 0-7 start to the season, including five losses to Top-25 teams, the Lady Yotes (8-8, 8-2 CCC) have rattled off wins in 8-of-9 matches to get to the .500 mark for the first time in 2013.
C of I bolted out of the gates in the opening set, getting three service aces and taking advantage of four Eagles (6-13, 2-7) hitting errors, part of a 15-2 push from the outset. In Set 3, NU closed within 14-11 after two C of I hitting errors, but the Yotes got three aces in the final 15 points of the match to earn their second-straight sweep of the Eagles.
