CALDWELL, Idaho – Pounding out a three-set season high 43 kills, The College of Idaho ran their home court Cascade Conference win streak to 63 matches, sweeping a much-improved Northwest Christian squad, 25-16, 25-23, 25-16, inside the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.

The No. 13 ranked Lady Yotes (6-4, 3-0 CCC) ran their overall win streak to three games, as four different players recorded eight-or-more kills.
Set 1 saw the Beacons (5-6, 0-3) hang around at 18-15, thanks to five kills from Tami Brown, but kills from Torrey Hulsey and Jessica Peacock, combined with a pair of NCU errors, gave the Yotes the initial win.
The middle set featured seven ties, the last coming at 18-18 on a Maren Mansfield ace for the Beacons. Leading just 21-20, kills by Kylee Nawahine and Hulsey extended the lead to 23-20, with a Sofia Anxo kill ending the set.
The Yotes exploded quickly in Set 3, getting a pair of Liz Myers kills and aces from Sierra Porter and Peacock to take a 9-3 lead – rolling to the straight-set victory.
Nawahine and Anxo each had nine kills in the win, with Peacock adding eight kills and 11 digs. Hulsey had eight kills, with Myers recording six kills and a team-high four blocks. Porter had 35 assists and seven digs, with her sister, Janel Porter, leading all players with 15 digs.
NCU got 10 kills without an error by Brown, with Mansfield recording seven kills and six digs. Cori Wallace led the Beacons with 13 assists, with libero Dana McGowan recording 11 digs.
The C of I returns to action tomorrow night, hosting Corban University at 7 p.m.
