Lady Yotes Sweep Warner Pacific

Liz Myers and Torrey Hulsey each had 11 kills in C of I win
PORTLAND, Ore. - Liz Myers and Torrey Hulsey each had 11 kills, helping The College of Idaho end a two-match losing streak with a 25-20, 27-25, 25-15 victory at Warner Pacific inside C.C. Perry Gymnasium.

With the win, the Lady Yotes (17-6, 14-2 CCC) clinched a quarterfinal bye in the Cascade Conference Tournament and can clinch at least a share of their seventh-straight league title with a win over co-leader Southern Oregon next Friday night in Caldwell.

Myers had four kills in the opening set as the Yotes never trailed in the frame. The Knights (15-10, 9-8) responded in Set 2, taking a 17-13 lead and earning set point at 24-23 after back-to-back Mikaela Lisoski kills. However, a Hulsey kill extended the period, with a second Hulsey spike and a WP hitting error giving The C of I the win. The final frame was all Coyotes, as both Myers and Hulsey each had four kills in the win.

Jessica Peacock had 10 kills in the victory, with Sierra Porter logging 37 assists and nine digs.  Janel Porter led all players with 22 digs.

Devan Belshe had 13 kills to lead WP.
