J.A. Albertson Activities Center

Built in 1991, the Activities Center is the hub of Yote Athletics, housing most athletic department offices. The JAAAC gymnasium seats 2,422 fans at capacity for basketball and volleyball games, but also houses the physical education and kinesiology departments and their classrooms as well as a collegiate weightroom. The stadium often boasts the top or one of the top attendances for basketball in the country. The bleachers and court was newly renovated in summer of 2024. The building also houses a climbing wall, a dance studio, the weight room, training room and treatment facilities, and a large locker room.  Adjacent to the JAAAC is the Albertson Aquatic Center, a 500-seat natatorium for the Yote swim program, featuring a 25-yard, six-lane pool with a diving well. The basketball arena was renamed to Elgin Baylor Arena in spring of 2025 in honor of the late Yote and NBA hall of fame member Elgin Baylor.
