LA GRANDE, Ore. - College of Idaho athletes swept this week's Red Lion Cascade Conference Cross Country Runner of the Week awards, announced today by the league information office.

Marcos Cervantes and
Molly Vitale-Sullivan were honored for their efforts at the College of Southern Idaho Classic.
Cervantes placed seventh overall in the men's 7,000-meter race, traversing the course in 23:09 - the third non-Division I racer to cross the finish line. His efforts helped the Coyotes to a second place finish.
Vitale-Sullivan dominated the field - including Top-10 NCAA Division I regionally ranked Utah and Weber State - winning the 5,000-meter race in a time of 17:32 - topping the field by over eight seconds.
C of I returns to the course a week from Saturday, competing at the Eastern Oregon Open.
