LA GRANDE, Ore. - Fueled by a offensive explosion by the College of Idaho women's soccer team, striker
Cameron Coyle was honored as this week's Red Lion-Cascade Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
The sophomore, from Boise, was instrumental in the Lady Yotes victories over Sierra Nevada and Simpson - combining for three goals and an assist. Coyle tallied two goals in Friday's 4-2 win over Sierra Nevada, while adding a goal and a helper in the 11-0 rout of Simpson on Saturday, the most goals scored by a C of I team in 25 years.
The Lady Yotes will have this weekend off, preparing for games in Walla Walla, Wash., against Whitworth and Whitman.
