CALDWELL, Idaho - Head coach
Al Mendiola has announced the 2018 Softball Alumni Game will be held on Oct. 7 - in conjunction with Homecoming Weekend on the College of Idaho campus.
Mendiola invites alumni from both the Albertson College and College of Idaho eras of softball to return for an afternoon on the diamond - beginning with a home run derby at 11 a.m. - followed by a game against the varsity team.

In addition, Mendiola has announced that former Coyote baseball shortstop,
Bobby Wright, has been named his assistant coach. Wright, who served as an assistant for the baseball team in 2018, helped the Yotes to consecutive NAIA Tournament appearances in 2016 and 2017.
