Colette Robert and outfielder
Courtney Ellis were honored as first-team members of the 2018 All-Cascade Conference softball team, announced at the CCC Tournament Banquet.
Robert, a junior from Milton-Freewater, Ore., was the Yotes top pitcher in 2018, posting a 15-9 record with a 2.04 ERA – ranking third in the CCC in wins, while leading the league in fewest walks allowed per game (0.95).
Ellis, a senior from Twin Falls, had a stellar season as the Yotes everyday left fielder – hitting a career-high .367 with seven doubles, five triples and 18 RBI. Her 54 hits on the season rank among the Top-10 marks in program history.
True freshman
Jordan Maddox was named to the second-team after a stellar rookie campaign. The Alamo, Calif., native hit .368 with 10 doubles, five home runs and 22 RBI – opening the season with a 17-game hit streak.
Junior
Marissa Maddox was named an honorable mention pick by the coaches – hitting .359 with five doubles, two triples, six homers and 24 RBI on the year.
Corban's Sabrina Boyd was named CCC Pitcher of the Year; Southern Oregon's Harlee Donovan was named CCC Player of the Year; Corban's Mahina Chong was named CCC Newcomer of the Year; with Sotuerhn Oregon's Jessica Pistole named CCC Coach of the Year.
