Guzzetti Named First-Team MCLA All-American

ATLANTA, Ga. – College of Idaho attackman Nich Guzzetti was honored today as the first-ever Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association Division II first-team All-American in program history – as the national body released their All-America squads.

The senior, from Boise, capped an amazing career by leading C of I to their first-ever Pacific Northwest Collegiate Lacrosse League tournament title and a trip to the MCLA National Championships.

Guzzetti scored a school record 59 goals on the season and added a school record 39 assists – finishing his career with 201 goals and 87 assists, both school records. He was a four-time All-PNCLL selection, a two-time PNCLL most valuable player, while earning three honorable mention All-America honors prior to his year.

Also honored by the MCLA was senior midfielder Cory Brady, who was named to the third-team – C of I's first third-team member since the 2007 season, when Cody Hart earned the award.

Brady was a dominant force on both ends of the field – leading the team with a school record 122 ground balls, while adding 31 goals and 23 assists on the season.
