BEND, Ore. – A rough final round by the College of Idaho saw the Yotes finish alone in fourth place in the final team standings at the 2018 Cascade Conference Men's Golf Championships, presented by U.S. Bank, at Pronghorn Resort.
The Yotes, who were in striking distance for their first lead title after the opening day, carded a final round 344 to finish with a three-round total of 986 (323-319-344) – finishing behind team champion, Oregon Tech (308-304-318 – 930), Corban (305-323-324 – 952) and Walla Walla (328-327-326 – 981).
Chris Carew earned All-CCC honors – finishing in the Top-5 in the conference scoring race – placing fourth overall with a 54-hole total of 234 (76-74-84) – behind OIT's Mayson Tibbs (225), Northwest Christian's Josh Goins (230) and OIT's Tyler Franke (233).
Senior
Blake Schulte had the best round of the day for the Yotes, with his final round 80 vaulting him into 25th-place (261).
Reed Burroughs finished 14th (244),
Clancy Cockerham took 23rd (255) and
Michael Piazzini placed 29th (266).
