ASHLAND, Ore. – Three College of Idaho athletes earned key points for the Cascade Conference Championships, competing in the heptathlon at the CCC Multi-Event Championships at Raider Stadium.
Kiersten Lancaster led the way for the Lady Yotes with 3,686 points, placing fourth overall – using a second-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles (15.89 seconds) to earn C of I five key team points.
Payton Durocher recorded 3,616 points to take seventh – finishing third in the 200-meters with a season-best time of 26.43 seconds.
Allison Cossins took eighth with 3,267 points, heaving the shot put 30 feet, 3.5 inches to place second in the event.
Also competing for C of I was
Brinley Reed, who used a second-place finish in the long jump (16 feet, 11.5 inches) to score 3,267 points and take tenth, while
Payge Durocher finished 12th with 3,127 points.
Loghan Sprauer of Southern Oregon won the event with 4,391 points.
