GOVERNMENT CAMP, Ore. – Three College of Idaho skiers placed in the Top-10, but it wasn't enough for the Yotes, as Washington State earned a one-second team victory in today's Northwest Collegiate Ski Conference giant slalom qualifier at Mount Hood Ski Bowl.

Led by gold medalist Cai Yamamoto (1:18.93), WSU clocked a team time of 4:03.04 – just ahead of C of I (4:04.07) – as the Cougars recorded their first NWCSC race win since 2014.
Lucas Underkoffler recorded his fifth-straight Top-4 finish for the Coyotes, placing third with a two-run time of 1:19.96. He was joined in the Top-10 by
Brady Nilsson in eighth (1:22.04), with
Trevor Trimble placing ninth (1:22.07). Two other C of I skiers completed two runs – as
Anthony Schifone placed 11th (1:25.86) and finished in 26th-place (1:51.14).
The NWCSC closes out their regular-season next weekend with slalom races on Grouse Mountain, outside Vancouver, B.C.
