KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Both College of Idaho cross country teams were extended at-large bids to the 2017 NAIA National Championships, set for Nov. 17 in Vancouver, Wash.
The Coyote men were the first at-large team selected, their tenth-straight appearance at the meet and the 12 appearance overall. C of I was one of six men's programs from the Cascade Conference set to compete in their own backyard – joined by Southern Oregon, Eastern Oregon, Oregon Tech, Northwest Christian and Northwest.
The Lady Yotes received the second at-large bid to the championships, their tenth-straight berth to Nationals. C of I, the 2012 and 2013 NAIA national runner-up, will be joined by Southern Oregon, Oregon Tech, Corban and Northwest at the event.
A total of 36 men's and 36 women's teams will compete at Fort Vancouver National Historic Site.
