LA GRANDE, Ore. – All-Conference runs by
Alex Martin and
Andrew Sutton helped the College of Idaho to their second-straight second-place finish at the Cascade Conference Championships, presented by U.S. Bank, at Lane Farms.

The Yotes had all seven of their placed runners in the Top-26, finishing with 72 place points – finishing second to defending champion Southern Oregon (42). Host Eastern Oregon (80), Northwest Christian (111) and Oregon Tech (112) rounded out the top-five.
Martin capped a great regular-season with a sixth-place finish with an 8-kilometer time of 25:42, with Sutton placing 11th overall (25:59) to earn All-CCC honors for a second straight year.
EOU's Nic Maszk earned the individual title (25:23), nine seconds clear of NCU's Garrett Kraal (25:32).
Quinn Radbourne (26:09) placed 14th,
Cole Campbell (26:25) took 19th and
Josh Frey (26:31) finished 22nd on the rain-soaked course.
C of I is expected to earn an at-large bid to the NAIA Championships, with the team set to compete on Nov. 17 in Vancouver, Wash.
