OAKLAND, Calif. - Competing in a quadrangular against three NCAA schools, the College of Idaho picked up six new NAIA qualifying marks, going 1-2 in dual meets today at Trefethen Aquatics Center.

The Lady Yotes (1-3) picked up a 143-52 win over Division III Mills College, but lost duals to Division II Biola (127-66) and Cal State-East Bay (187-18).
C of I hit a pair of NAIA automatic qualifying marks on the day, as
Caroline Yannelli clocked a 2:02.39 in the 200-yard freestyle and
Deandre Small improved her time in the 50-yard freestyle (25.57). Small also had the Yotes best finish on the day, placing third in the 100-yard backstroke (1:01.68).Â
Maddy Kelly hit the "B" cut in the 500-yard freestyle (5:30.71) and placed fourth in the 100-yard butterfly (59.83), while Yannelli hit the "B" mark in the 200-yard IM (2:17.25) and
Taylor Gordon hit the bonus cut in the 200-free (2:04.53).
The Lady Yotes 400-yard freestyle relay team of Gordon,
Alexis Smith,
Bailey Clifford and
Jessica Sparks hit the "A" mark with a time of 4:05.52.
The team closes out the weekend tomorrow at the Bay Area Invitational.
