LA GRANDE, Ore. - For the second-straight year, College of Idaho's Hillary Holt was named Cascade Conference Women's Athlete of the Year, announced by the league office.
The senior, from Meridian, was honored earlier this year as the CCC Cross Country Women's Athlete of the Year and the CCC Track & Field Athlete of the Year.
Holt closed out a record-setting C of I career with a banner final season - ending with a combined 17 NAIA All-America awards and 11 combined NAIA national titles.
In cross country, she earned All-CCC honors for the fourth-straight season, winning her second-straight CCC title - helping the Lady Yotes to a league crown for the third time in her four years. She followed it up by winning her second-straight NAIA title, earning her third cross country All-America honor in helping C of I to a second-straight second-place finish at Nationals.
In indoor track, Holt won three NAIA titles - distancing the field in both the 800 and 1,500-meters, while anchoring the winning distance medley relay.
In outdoor track, she won her fourth-straight CCC 1,500-meter title and also claimed a crown in the 800-meters. At the NAIA Outdoor Championships, she won her third-straight 1,500-meter title and also earned All-America honors in the 800-meters.
Holt, who has began a post-collegiate running career, will compete this weekend in the 1,500-meters at the Portland Track Festival.
