GULF SHORES, Ala. - Nick Hampton finished tenth in the 1,500-meters, closing out the College of Idaho's run at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships at Blackwell Stadium.

Hampton, competing in a deep field, finished with a time of 3:55.58, nearly two seconds off his mark from Thursday's preliminary round. The senior finished two spots shy of earning All-America honors.
As a team, the Yotes finished with four total points at the meet, good enough for a tie for 47th-place.
Earning distinction as scholar-athletes were Austin Basterrechea, Camden DeBruler, John Fronk, and Gary Parkinson. The quartet were at least a junior in academic status and have maintained a cumulative 3.50 GPA at the College.
