In addition, four C of I student-athletes were honored as Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Hampton, competing in a deep field, finished with a time of 3:55.58, nearly two seconds off his mark from Thursday's preliminary round.  The senior finished two spots shy of earning All-America honors.

As a team, the Yotes finished with four total points at the meet, good enough for a tie for 47th-place.

Earning distinction as scholar-athletes were Austin Basterrechea, Camden DeBruler, John Fronk, and Gary Parkinson.  The quartet were at least a junior in academic status and have maintained a cumulative 3.50 GPA at the College.
