Lewinski Named NAIA Scholar-Athlete

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - College of Idaho's Ruth Lewinski was honored as one of 340 members of the 2014 Daktronics Women's Cross Country NAIA Scholar-Athlete Team, announced by the national office.

The junior, from McCall, earned the award by being at least a junior academically and maintaining a cumulative 3.50 grade point average while at the C of I.

Lewinski helped the Lady Yotes to a fourth-place finish at the Cascade Conference Championships and a 17th-place finish at last Saturday's NAIA National Championship in Lawrence, Kan.
