KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Both College of Idaho cross country teams have earned at-large bids to the 2014 NAIA Cross Country National Championships, set for Nov. 22 at Rim Rock Farm in Lawrence, Kan.
It marks the seventh-straight season that both teams have advanced to the national championships.
For the Coyote men, it is their ninth appearance at the NAIA meet since the program returned in 2004, while the Lady Yotes make their seventh-straight trip and are coming off back-to-back national runners-up finishes.
Both the men and women placed fourth at the Cascade Conference Championships on Saturday - with the at-large bid based on the final NAIA Top-25 ranking - as the Coyotes ended the regular-season ranked No. 21 and the Lady Yotes ranked No. 22.
The CCC had nine teams qualify - with Southern Oregon, Eastern Oregon, Concordia, Oregon Tech, and the Yotes qualify on the men's side, while Northwest Christian, Oregon Tech, Southern Oregon, and the Lady Yotes qualifying on the women's side.Â
