LA GRANDE, Ore. - College of Idaho's Lila Klopfenstein was honored today as Red Lion-Cascade Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week, announced by the league office.
The sophomore, from Meridian, helped the Lady Yotes place second at the Inland Empire Challenge in Lewiston, recording an eighth-place finish in the field of 120 runners. Â Klopfenstein clocked a personal-best 5,000-meter time of 17:10 against a primarily NCAA Division I field.
C of I will return to action on Nov. 8 at the CCC Championships in Portland.
