VANCOUVER, Wash. - Greg Montgomery capped a remarkable cross country career with a runner-up finish this morning at the NAIA Men's Cross Country National Championships at Fort Vancouver National Historic Site.

The senior, who earned his fourth All-America honor in cross country and his seventh overall, broke the school record at 8,000-meters with his time of 24:06, but finished 10-seconds behind The Master's College David Culberthson.
As a team, the Coyotes finished 11th in the 31 team field, as Saint Francis (Ill.) claimed the team title. Southern Oregon placed second, followed by Cal State San Marcos, Oklahoma Baptist, and Aquinas (Mich.)
Dominic Bolin recorded a personal-best time of 25:14 for the Yotes, finishing 28th - but no other C of I runner finished in the Top-100. Sophomore Christopher Roeper finished 110th (26:14), with freshmen Max Hampton (26:39) and Miles Ranck (26:41) rounding out the Coyote scorers.
