VANCOUVER, Wash. - Six members of The College of Idaho women's cross country team were honored today as members of the 2012 Daktronics NAIA-Scholar-Athlete team, announced prior to the National Championships Gala at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site.
Seniors Andi Hayes and Elynn Smith, along with juniors Myja Maki, Hillary Holt, Madison Crookham, and Kenna Middleton were among the 317 student-athletes honored for being at least a junior in academic standing and maintaining a 3.50 or better cumulative grade point average.
The Lady Yotes will compete tomorrow in their fifth-straight NAIA Cross Country National Championships, with the 5,000-meter race to begin at 10:30 a.m. (PT)
